FORTA-FI

FORTA-FI is a high tensile strength synthetic fiber blend designed to reinforce asphalt mixes in both new construction and rehabilitation projects. The blend of aramid and polyolefin fibers enhances your current mix design. Aramid fibers do not melt during production and provide mechanical reinforcement to the asphalt mix, known for their strength and durability in both high and low temperatures. The polyolefin fibers act as a transport medium for the aramid fibers, distributing them homogeneously across the mix within five seconds of dry mixing time, making it the most efficient fiber blend containing Aramid.


VOYAGER RADIO REMOTE CONTROLLED FIBER DISPENSER

The Voyager fiber dispenser sets the standard for performance and accuracy with its proprietary loss-in-weight system. Its exceptional accuracy, thanks to its four (4) intelligent load cells, minimizes errors and reduces fiber waste, while its user-friendly design allows for simple operation. Improved employee safety is achieved by eliminating the need to climb stairs, which also helps reduce worker compensation costs. Furthermore, its efficient operation lowers labor costs by reducing the number of workers needed for each job. The Voyager is Radio Remote Controlled. A small digital control box next to asphalt plant operator permits to start the Voyager, to stop it, to change the feeding rate when production speed needs to be changed, all that within seconds. Plant operator will only need to send a helper to fill fibers in Voyager drum every hour or so depending on production speed. The Voyager is a rugged and reliable unit that runs for hours and shifts without downtime.


ASPHALT INTERLAYER FIBERGLASS GEOGRIDS

Our premier line asphalt interlayer fiberglass geogrids are designed for interlayer asphalt reinforcement, enhancing pavement life and performance while reducing maintenance costs. It features a unique coating that provides heat resistance and stability up to 900°F, minimal shrinkage, and ultimate elongation to create a rigid asphalt layer. These geogrids are highly durable and formulated to resist ultraviolet degradation. They can be used between new pavement layers or onto existing distressed pavements, either fully or locally using our 1.5 m roll placed on cracks or cold joints.

Surface-EXT is an alkali and acid-resistant glass fiber designed to extend the life of micro surfacing and slurry seal pavement applications. This easy-to-use treatment improves pavement flexibility and long-term durability. Thanks to its specific gravity similar to that of the aggregate, SURFACE-EXT can distribute evenly throughout the slurry mix. Furthermore, it can be used at any dosage to suit project needs. Typical dosage is 0.2% of fiber by dry aggregate weight.
